Millwater is a master-planned subdivision built largely from the late 2000s onward, big, modern homes on rolling hillside sections with valleys, slopes and retaining walls throughout. Most exteriors here are render, plaster finishes or modern composite cladding rather than old painted weatherboard, and a lot of these homes haven't had a proper exterior clean since the day they were finished. New doesn't mean nothing to clean, it just means a different approach.
Render needs a gentler touch
Plaster and render finishes mark and stain differently to painted weatherboard, and can be damaged by the wrong pressure or technique. We treat it accordingly, not with a generic blast.
Slopes, valleys and retaining walls
Millwater's hillside terrain means a lot of homes have retaining walls and tiered sections. Those shaded, damp spots grow black mould fast, especially while landscaping is still maturing.
First clean since the build
Plenty of Millwater homes are still on their first wash ever. Builder's residue, render dust and early mould growth often need a more thorough first clean than a routine maintenance wash.
