What is a softwash?

Softwashing is a low-pressure clean. Instead of blasting the grime off with brute force, we apply a biodegradable cleaning solution that kills mould and algae where they grow, then gently rinse it all away. It's kinder to your home and the results last a lot longer.

That matters on the coast, where salty air and damp winters bring the growth back quickly. A softwash deals with it properly without putting your cladding or paint at risk.

We softwash your whole exterior, including weatherboard, brick, render and any fascia we can reach. A professional cleaning solution and controlled low pressure lift dirt, mould, algae and cobwebs without damaging your paint or surfaces.
Yes. Softwashing is designed to be gentle. Unlike high-pressure water blasting, it pairs low pressure with a professional cleaning solution, so it's safe on weatherboard, brick, render, vinyl and most other exterior surfaces.
For most Hibiscus Coast properties, we recommend once a year. Shaded, coastal, or south-facing properties tend to grow mould and algae faster and may benefit from a wash every 6 months.
Our biodegradable solution kills mould, lichen and algae at the root instead of just rinsing them off, so the results last noticeably longer than a standard water blast. Regular washes stop it taking hold again.
Not necessarily, but easy access to your exterior helps us do a thorough job. We'll let you know if anything needs to be moved when we quote or confirm your booking.
We use plant-safe cleaning solution and thoroughly rinse garden beds before and after washing. We'd recommend keeping pets inside during the clean for their own comfort and safety.
